[ About ]

Pause Projects is a creative studio specialising in photography, motion, and visual direction.

Based in Singapore and led by longtime collaborators Jerald Saw (@jeraldsaw) and Clarence Lum (@clarenceljy), we work with brands to craft visuals that speak clearly, not loudly.

[ THE STUDIO ]

Visual work that moves with a distinct voice.

From fast-moving campaigns to slower editorial pieces, Pause Projects works across photography, film, and branded content, shaping how brands are seen and remembered. The studio’s work moves between commercial and cultural spaces, always with an eye on what matters and how it’s framed.

[ WHAT WE DO ]

Process, craft and control.

Visual Direction

Defining the creative spine of a project like tone, pacing, composition, and form, from concept to delivery.

Filmmaking

Short-form commercial films and narrative pieces. Built with control, cut with rhythm, and grounded in the world around them.

Photography

Still images with precision and mood. From campaign visuals to editorial stories, each frame is designed to carry weight.

Project Assembly

Led by Jerald and Clarence, supported by a network of collaborators across production, sound, styling, and post. Shaped in close alignment with client teams.
